Working with user feedback every day, I saw how seemingly small problems, when traced back to their cause, were often symptoms of larger problems, whether in the product and in our processes. This led to me to question how the technology we use fits into larger social systems.
I'm interested in how public agencies, private companies, and social organizations can collaborate to deliver technology that meets real public needs.

As a designer, my perspective is grounded in understanding both the local context people navigate and the systems that influence their access, agency, and outcomes.
Whether the output is a service flow or a digital tool, my goal is to figure out the “why” and design the simplest “how”.
Outside of work, I like to go hiking and play ultimate frisbee. I’m also certain nothing beats fall in New England :)
